Celebrating Squash Excellence- Collective Pulse Inaugural Recognition Dinner

  • The Grist Niagara-On-The-Lake
  • November 19th 2029

What a fantastic night for the squash community! Collective Pulse Sports & Socials was thrilled to host its inaugural Recognition Dinner on November 19, 2025, an exclusive, invitation-only event dedicated to honouring the athletes who embody the true pulse of the sport.
Held at the historic, community-focused venue The Grist in St. David’s, the evening celebrated the achievements and invaluable contributions of seven distinguished athletes on international, national and local stages.

Honoring the Icons

A significant highlight of the evening was the presentation of the prestigious Niagara Squash Icon Trophy to three players with careers marked by major international and national Open success:

  • Nick Sachvie (St. Catharines): Recognized for representing the pinnacle of professional squash talent from the region, Sachvie is a two-time Canadian Men’s Open National Champion and a former World No. 64 on the PSA tour.
  • Gabriel Dubois: Honoured for his sustained world-class performance at the highest veteran level, which includes his 2023 victory in the U.S. Masters Men’s 70+ division.
  • Thomas Bedore: A five-time U.S. Masters champion who recently made history by becoming the first father and son duo to win U.S. Masters titles simultaneously, securing the Men’s 70+ National title in 2024.

Recognizing the Ambassadors

  • Rachel Forgeron
  • Nathan Hall
  • Tom Powers
  • Chad Dommsch

Looking Ahead: The 2026 Collective Pulse Recognition Dinner

Following the success of this year’s event, Collective Pulse is excited to announce our plans for the 2026 Recognition Dinner!

We are expanding our reach to include players from broader regions who have made significant contributions to the sport. Our goal is to create an even more inclusive and comprehensive celebration of squash excellence.

Crucially, for the 2026 awards cycle, we will be opening the nomination process to the public! We believe the community is the best judge of who represents the heart and soul of the sport, and we look forward to receiving your nominations for your favourite players.

Collective Pulse Sports & Socials is dedicated to fostering community and recognizing excellence in sports, and we can’t wait to see what the next year of squash achievements brings!
